Welcome to the 8Dio Misfit Series – an unusual collection of 15 deep-sampled instruments – following the musical tradition of flicks like Breaking Bad, Dexter, There Will Be Blood, The Master or them fine video games like Left4Dead and more. The Misfit Fiddle is masterpiece in its own right. You get that raw, untrained grit. It’s redefining the notion of what a fiddle could be. The Misfit Fiddle comes with four different types of legato (New Bow Gelato, Same Bow Gelato, Glissando Gelato and Auto Gelato), but you also get a lovely assortment of pizzicato, tremolo, whole and half tone trills for your compositional extravaganza. The Misfit Fiddle contains over 3,000 incredibly detailed samples that will give you a sonic experience you’ll never forget.
Chaos FX 3.0
The 8Dio Chaos 3.0 FX system is built into all instruments in the Misfit collection. This means you have access to a variety of new FX types, including a dual stereo delay, two different types of custom convolution reverbs, and a highly sophisticated arpeggiator that allows you to experience rhythmic sound patterns in the craziest ways. There’s also added elements like EQ, Bitcrusher, Distortion and many other delicious types of effects.

The Misfit sample collection is not exactly your standard sample experience. In fact it’s not even close. However to make it all easy as pie – 8Dio added a "Help" button on the front of all the user-interfaces. If you click it the user interface will explain all the features and how they work. Whether you want a little true legato action or molto expresso vibrato – you can easily find it all by clicking the help button.
