The Soloist violin/viola shoulder rests offer 3 unique layers of acoustical material, each of a different density and responsiveness. One layer is made from special acoustical material, delivering enhanced sound, ultimate comfort and a secure hold while protecting against bruising, sores and marks on your chin, neck and collarbone and relieving shoulder pain. One layer attaches simply with air to the back of your instrument using micro-air technology. The White Layer gives the Soloist model added projection, increased resonance and allows you to create the maximum overtones for the violin or viola.

The AcoustaGrip is a non-clamping, non-stiff and non-muting shoulder pad lift accessory; It does not clamp onto the instrument, as clamping mutes and diminishes the wood's vibrations. It provides an comfortable ergonomically designed cushion that fits between the instrument and the shoulder of the musician that will not fall off and sticks to the instrument without glues. The AcoustaGrip will not dent, scratch, or damage the sides, back or any part of the instrument. It can be removed and replaced again and again and is easily cleaned with a wet paper towel if needed.
