Adams chimes are manufactured of a chrome plated, brass alloy developed to create a long sustain, massive tone, and unparalleled tuning and tonal purity. The philharmonic series chimes feature 1 1/2" tube. Philharmonic Chimes are unlike any other chimes currently available on the market today in that they are perfectly in tune and offer a unrivaled church bell-like tone quality. The precise tuning of the instrument provides for balance throughout the range of the instrument. Also, the fact that each tube is suspended seperately allows for easy removal. A damping system ensures direct damping of both fundamental and upper partials. The new, redesigned frame is entirely constructed of aluminum, is height adjustable, and is equipped with large wheels and brakes. Philharmonic chimes are offered in either chrome plated or satin brass finishes.
