Comments about Allora AATR-125 Series Classic Bb Trumpet:

I was semi pro years ago, on music scholarship, played gigs, but dropped out as I lived in international oilfield construction camps for too many years. As a come back player after decades, I didn't want to spend too much $ before I could see how it goes, so I bought this during the pre-Christmas sale. I've had professional horns and I must say this horn made a very favourable impression on me. Good horn! Great for students, or pros who need an inexpensive but good horn - you could gig with this horn. I'm happy with this horn!

Comments about Allora AATR-125 Series Classic Bb Trumpet:

I started playing trumpet in 1966, started out as a music major in college, changed my major and neglected the horn for about 25 years I had resigned myself to the idea that a comeback was going to be a slow, tortuous experience. Not with this horn. The construction is solid, intonation is great, the high register slots perfectly. When I was playing I had a Getzen Severinsen Eterna 900S that I dearly loved. I also owned a Monette (which was subsequently lost in a divorce). While this horn is clearly not in the same class, it is a great instrument for young players who want to step up without spending an arm and a leg. I also bought the Flugelhorn and the Pocket trumpet by Allora. Excellent instruments.

Comments about Allora AATR-125 Series Classic Bb Trumpet:

At first I was unsure about getting an off-brand trumpet, but I wanted a decent silver horn, and didn't have the money (or the need) for a professional horn. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound and am very pleased with WWBW buying experience. Thank you for the great price on this horn!

Great Quality & Value for the Price

Comments about Allora AATR-125 Series Classic Bb Trumpet:

I purchased this trumpet several weeks after buying the Allora AAFG-103 flugelhorn. I was impressed with quality of the flugel, so researched the brand a bit further (used trumpetmaster.com) to learn Allora is apparently manufacured by B&S, a reputed brand. Both the flugel and trumpet have rich, full tones and play easily, right out of the box. Along with the great looks, these horn offer quality at an affordable price. I picked up these instruments after a long lay off; and at 50-something am satisfied to play again with quality instruments. I believe any student or intermediate player will be pleased with Allora horns in these models. Only minus: the cases are tight, so you can't put a K & M stand in the bell and get the horns in their respective cases. Pro-Tec cases are an ideal solution. I bought the flugelhorn/trumpet combo case, which is definitely worth the extra $135.

Comments about Allora AATR-125 Series Classic Bb Trumpet:

I was skeptical at first when I purchased this trumpet but once it came I was very happy with my purchase. Well manufactured, flawless silver plating, and everything works as it should. This instrument has quality yellow brass lead pipe and Monel pistons that you will find on many expensive trumpets. The sound that is produced is a vibrant solid sound which is pleasant to the ears. Very affordable, very responsive, try the Allora AATR-125 you will not regret it.

Comments about Allora AATR-125 Series Classic Bb Trumpet:

The Allora AATR-125 is a very nicely priced horn with a warm rich sound. It takes some getting used to, but its not to long before you're able to tackle the harder pieces. While it doesn't have quite the projection or tone of some more expensive trumpets; in its price range it is unbeatable.
