Good instrument for the price

This instrument is an excellent choice for students who want a versatile instrument for a relatively low cost. The instrument is crafted well, the valve action is very good, and overall the horn is very durable. The first vale is sharp and needs to be pulled out about to a mark on the slide. My students use this horn for jazz, symphonic and church playing and we are very surprised about the results we get from the instrument. I have recommended it to all of my students in need of an inexpensive, versatile and durable instrument.

I did not know what to expect with this horn but it has been all good! The craftsmanship is really very good. The valves are fast. The horn converts easily from B-flat to C. The only issue I have had is that intonation on the first valve is sharp and I have to pull out on the tuning slide a bit. The finish on the horn is beautiful. I would recommend this horn to anyone, considering the price. It is a surprising value.
