This clarinet is used by almost every master in Turkey. Unlike the others (La Ripamonti, Orsi etc.) Amati has not any intonation problem. Tone is bright and loud in 2 and 3 register, mellow and warm, in chalumeau register, especially with a Vandoren 5JB mpc. You have to use wide and open mpc in order to get Balkan sound and hit the quarter tones. Keys are stable. But the only problem is cracking of the body. They don't use durable, old body, so it has high risk about cracking. But they have a year guarantee about cracking. You should care it like a baby - don't allow large margins in temperature, oil it once a month.
