The HR2 is a clip-on Harmonica Microphone system for diatonic harmonica's. The system is low in profile, which allows it to be used with a standard neck harness. Or be held in the hand of a player while holding the instrument.
Hand made in the USA, the microphone comes with spring-loaded clips to attach to the Harmonica and can easily fit into most neck braces on the market today. Compact cylindrical design handles sound pressure levels well above 141dB. Rugged and lightweight anodized aviation aluminum for a very well built and durable construction.
The HR2 is designed to achieve a flat and natural sound reproduction of the instrument. To achieve the distorted "Chicago Blues" sound, one can overdrive the stage amplifier or use with an overdrive processor rather than distorting the microphone. Comes complete with soft case and a belt pack style preamp with 1/4in output. Phantom power or 9 volt battery required.
