Azumi 3000 Series Professional Flute
The Azumi 3000 is one of the premier professional flutes in the world. It features a handcut Altus Z-Cut headjoint, whose wide, rectangular embouchure provides quick and free response and a bold tone throughout all registers. The headjoint is made of .958 Britannia silver, an alloy containing the highest percentage of silver of any flute in its category. The added silver content lends a sweeter tone with greater potential color and personality.

The Altus-Bennet scale provides easier playability, better tone quality and better tuning than traditional scales. It features a split E mechanism, which makes high Es easier to play and assists in fine-tuning alternate fingerings. The offset G makes for an ergonomic hand positioning, the proprietary alloy used in the springs are more consistently reliable and less prone to corrosion than most, and they hold their adjustment longer than stainless steel.

Wide rib construction, a B foot and gizmo key complete the picture to make for a professional quality flute at a reasonable price.

Showcasing the tradition and beauty for which the flute makers of Japan are recognized and celebrated, Azumi flutes are named for the mountainous region of Azumino, Japan, the birthplace of Altus handmade flutes. Azumi flutes rely on the premium performance and playability of the unique Altus Z embouchure cut on a Britannia Silver headjoint combined with a precisely crafted body and mechanism. The perfect balance of durable design and affordability, Azumi offers the advancing flutist a superior instrument at a gentler price.

The Azumi 3000 is the best flute on the market for under $2000! My daughter's teacher (a professional) said it has the sound of a $6000 flute. Clear sound in both the high and low register. We got the offset G and split E keys. This flute will last through high school and into university for any serious flutist. We tried other brands and nothing compared in sound and quality to this flute. Can't way enough good about this model!

I recently bought this flute at a local retail store. This flute is worth MILLIONS of compliments, the fantastic sound, the splendid look, and the overall mechanism. I'm a freshman at high school. I've started a year late then all my peers, and now because of this flute I can outplay all the seniors (quoted by the teachers). I'm really not sure if it's because of the hard work I put in, but if I don't have this flute in my possession right now, I don't think I could have accomplished what I have done today. I 110% recommend this flute. I consider the Azumi Flutes better than Geminhardt, Jupiter, or many other brands. Truly amazing, I absolutely love this flute and hope many future musicians (like me) can grow with this flute.

I own an Azumi flute and it is the best I've ever played on. i've tried Gemeinhardts, Sonore, Yamaha, and Jupitar, and by far Azumi is the best yet. It has amazing sound quality and can hit the lower octives with grace. It has such a rich tone to it and I love playing it. I reccomend this to anyone who is looking for a semi-professional flute, because I know mine will get me through college.

I bought the Azumi 3000 after using both a DiMedici 911 and 1011, which I thought were just fine. The Azumi outplays both--the projection is absolutely wonderful-my teacher always told me I need to play with more volume, and this flute takes cre of that! The projection is excellent. I can hit low B directly with ease. The high notes are clear and this instrument actually sings. I probably will never need to try anything else. Highly recommend, and the price doesn't do it justice. Very affordable for the great quality!

After trying out flutes, I got two out on trial from my local music store, an Azumi 3000 and an Amadeus 900, both inline. I'm ready to get my first step up flute, and was actually admiring the Azumi for some time. After playing them for a couple hours-What a comparision!- the Azumi is a lot better than the Amadeus, with a better tone and feel.I think I'll go with the Azumi- the Amadeus is going back!
