Comments about BG Lacquered Metal Jazz Saxophone Ligature:
This ligature is the best I've found for my Meyer alto #8 mouthpiece. It has amazing projection, and really helps to even out intonation throughout the horn (MK VI). It tends to be slightly on the brighter side, but putting a rubber tooth guard on the mouthpiece darkened it again to my taste, without at all dampening the projection. The other thing I really like about this ligature is it really allows me to be expressive with my sound, allowing me to create nuances which I was not able to do as easily with other ligatures. It really works with you.
