This horn is a FANTASTIC horn, I got mine in 2005, it was my 8th grade year and it was time to "step up" but I didnt want a Yamaha, or a Conn, or a Chinese horn.... no, I knew I wanted a Bach but I didnt want a .547 horn the .525 allows me to be VERY versitle, I played principle in all the bands I was in and I was lead in all the jazz bands, now im a jazz trombonist by trade and this horn did the job with no problem, sadly I had to get rid of my 36 because it was time to get a legit jazz horn (so I traded for a really sweet custom King 2b!) the horn is GRREAT but the only issue I had with it was (and its a Bach design flaw across the board) the high Ab above the staff didnt ever slot well so it takes some work. I reccomend this horn to anyone who is serious about playing!
