Description
If dark, rich and full is the sound you're seeking, your search is over.

Bach Mega Tone Trumpet Mouthpiece
Mega Tone mouthpieces are based on the classic Vincent Bach designs, but feature more than twice the mass of ordinary models. This results in a darker sound that is cherished by many jazz and symphonic players. They also feature a slightly larger throat affords less resistance and greater flexibility resulting in warmer, more powerful sound, and greater dynamic range without distortion. Allow us to express loudly and clearly that if you are seeking a mouthpiece that is loud and clear, the Megatone may well be your answer.

"Give this mouthpiece a try, it can help"

I have had endurance problems ever since I started playing my horn seriously. No matter how much I worked long tones and chop builders, nothing seemed to really help me. I played on a 3c bach and a German strad trumpet which produced a great tone, I just couldn't keep that tone going for long playing sessions. When I decided to try a new mouthpiece I looked at several small cupped schilke's but I didn't like the thin tone, even if it was easier to play high. When I found a 5b MEGAtone I was hooked. After playing on it for 3-4 weeks my endurance has improved greatly along with my tone, pitch center and dynamic control. My range has increased some as well. These mouthpieces look good, play good, and do what the manufacturers say they will do for most people. Great buy.

The Megatone is a wonderful mouthpiece. It has great embouchure support even for people who are wearing braces. It has a nice rich tone and you won't have to struggle to hit the higher notes. The difference is noticeable and it is worth every penny.
