Bach Megatone Trumpet Mouthpieces in GoldGold-plated versions of the famous Bach Megatone trumpet mouthpieces. Gold plating provides a very comfortable and flexible feel. Insist on a Genuine Bach Mouthpiece Bach mouthpieces are designed to meet every conceivable playing need and have for nearly three quarters of a century. A Bach mouthpiece will make a poor instrument play well, a good instrument play better. Volume and excellent intonation, ease of response in the high and low register, rich, uniform timbre throughout the range, and resistance calculated to increase the player's endurance—these characteristics explain why professional artists choose Bach.Megatone Trumpet Mouthpieces Offer Something Better To create the Megatone, Selmer started with genuine Vincent Bach mouthpiece designs, then more than doubled the outside mass. This darkens the sound and allows you to play at a higher dynamic level without distortion. Megatone slots extremely well so pitches center dependably. A slightly larger throat affords less resistance and greater flexibility. The result is a warmer, more powerful sound that's perfect in the concert hall and adds a new dimension to pop and jazz playing. Because Bach mouthpieces are accepted for their high standard of quality, their numbers are familiar everywhere as designations for certain models and types. Only genuine Bach mouthpieces bear the full inscription "VINCENT BACH" with one of the model numbers.

I own the 3C mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is awesome. The gold color goes good with either silver or lacquer trumpets. It also gives a great deeper and darker sound perfect for jazz band or many other types of music. I would recommend this to everyone.
This mouthpiece is incredible, I used the standard 7c, but when I switched to this (5C), it felt really easy to play in the upper register and has a great tone to it, I recommend this to all trumpet players, why stop at the 3C, 1 1/2 is also amazing!!!
MegaTone mouthpieces offer a player a bigger, stronger, deeper and fuller tone than the standard models. The throat size #26 is one size bigger than the standard #27 throat. The added mass gives better overall pitch stability and a feeling of balance and control to the player. I recommend gold plating because of its beauty and its enhancement of the tone. These handmade mouthpieces are beautifully crafted and have a distinctive feel and sound that many professional players prefer.
Just got it in the mail. Fast delivery. Says 10 -15, more like 3 - 5. Bought the 1C. Very happy with. Has a heathy heft to it. Stunning Gold. Can't help but brag to all my friends. If you are iffy about purchasing it over price, don't! Maybe purchase the regular silver. It's cheaper, but it doesn't have the glow to it. But buy a Bach Megatone! Totally worth it! Don't Hesitate! Buy it! Feel free to email me with questions.
Ordered the 1-1/2C mouthpiece and was totally blown away at how it felt. I normally play with a Yamaha 14gp but this mouthpiece blows that one way away. My tone is so much better when playing high E up to C or higher. Great for soloing!
