The case is very light, and attractive as well. The shoulder strap that comes with it is top notch - it feels like gel - and the rubberized bottom half is very good at preventing slippage when the case is resting on it. The compartment inside is large enough for cleaning tools, reed boxes, screwdrivers/etc. There is a fair amount of flex to the broad face portions, but the wider bell flair is very sturdy and should protect it if you're so foolish as to stack heavy instruments on top. But most importantly, the sides of this case - where it will hit ground if dropped - flex relatively little and the padding inside is the best I've ever seen, thick and with just the right amount of give. The only reason I don't give this product five stars is that the shoulder strap rings show a tendency to wear. In particular, there are some screwheads on the case that rub against the strapends and grind on the metal. I'm not sure if this is just aesthetic or would weaken the strap over time; I placed some electric tape over the screwheads just in case.

The only thing this case lacks is some extra storage space, but that is easily offset by how light and attractive the case is. I was able to fit everything I used to carry in my old rectangular ProTec case by putting some accessories into a ProTec neck bag, which stores inside the bell. This case is shipped with Selmer Reference 54 saxes, the only difference between this case and the Selmer one being the name sticker and the color of the top. I know this because I have a Reference case and have been able to compare the two directly. I've seen the Selmer cases for sale for almost twice what WWBW is asking for this case. Save some money, get this one. Keep in mind, it's not a flight case, but the protection this case offers is more than satisfactory for the daily life of a professional musician. I trust this case to protect my Mark VI wherever I go.

This sax case is one of the best I have seen yet. Its sturdy and light weight. Its really great for gigs and I would recommend getting this case. It has a comfortable strap thats easy to walk around with. I go to new world school of the arts and I have to walk all over town with my sax but with this case it makes my life a lot easier with its light weight an strap. Its a very durable case and you can fit it in a lot of small areas or cars. The inside is very compact so you know your sax isn't moving at all. It has a small compartment on the inside so you can put some accessories in it. I give this case a full 5 stars!
