This amp is very nice. The sound is just plain good. To get the most out of it and the very best sounds you need to download the best patches from their site. Easy to do and free, just buy a midi to USB controller and do it online. Those patches take the rock sounds to another level and offer lots of great clean and classic sounds.

This baby puts out, from nice clean jazzy tones to that beautiful just-breaking-up crunchy chord sound that sings blues. It's a bit of work learning all the settings, & u won't settle for the factory defaults (boring after an hour of noodling) so learn it right from the start! The manual is pretty good but not spectacular. I haven't figured out how to set it up with my computer yet, but supposedly that's possible. Best feature: you can save ALL of the knob settings in your presets, so the volume can be matched (in whatever ratio u want) between eg. a mostly clean rhythm tone and your crunchy lead tone. Try that with a Line6, & good luck. After some hours of practice I found the Behringer to sound better than the Line6 Spider II, and Flextone III. No real contest there. If u need an awesome tone at volume, even for a good-sized noisy club, this amp will keep you heard. I give it 5 stars for versatility & especially the value, which is unbelievable.
