I bought this unit for my Bass Effects! I've managed to squease a Boss ME-50B and 2 Boss compact pedals. I do play lots of gigs and the practicality of the unit is brilliant! No need for a 4 way adapters, and your always rigged up! Excellent if you use an effects loop!

"Plastic Concerns"

The concept of this pedal board/case is excellent and the internal components appear rock solid. However, upon receiving it and seeing it in person, I feel the case's plastic construction is a concern... Hinges: The plastic hinges in the lid/board intentionally un-snap from one another. This is necessary to use your pedals from the proper direction. However, I can envision these hinges wearing and becoming looser and/or becoming brittle over time (as most plastic does) and cracking or snapping off--rendering the case unusable. Latches: The latches are also plastic, and are similar in construction to the latches on plastic gun cases I own. While these latches are generally durable, I have had a few break. I can stomach a broken latch more on a $10-$15 gun case than on a $130 pedalboard case! Bottom Line: A product is only as good as it's weakest link. The wrong hard knock--especially in a cold climate--could easily be the end of this item's usefulness.

"Good board, but..."

This pedal board is nice and solid and is very convenient for folks like me who like to carry around a lot of effects to shows. The only problem that I have is that it really is designed for Boss pedals and Boss rip-offs (like the Behringer pedals and others). It does have one customizable section for your wah, but the board can't support very many pedals made by other manufacturers. Rocktron, Fulltone, ElectroHarmonix, and others make large, wide pedals that don't fit incredible well in this board. However, those pedals are so large that they make trouble on almost ANY board. My solution has been to run two of the larger pedals outside of the board but still using the power supply on the board (yes, the cables are long enough to do that if you are clever about it!). It has worked really well for me. My only complaint is that I wish that it were a little bit larger.
