I bought this metronome because I needed a metronome that could work with multiple beats, and one that didn't have pre set tempo markings. This metronome is perfect in every job that it does, in my view. It is small, light weight, durable, and fits in my case without taking out much room. The speaker is very loud, and that metal clip on the back is used to attatch the metronome to a music stand. The one thing that I don't like about the product is that it doesn't use conventional batteries. It uses a CR2032 coin cell- I'd prefer something easier to replace, like a AAA, but they do last for quite some time. If you are looking for a great metronome with internal refrence tones, buy this! I bought two so I always had one in my case.
this is by far the best solo practice met i've ever owned. has professional features and its loud and piercing. the multiple settings allow to me tune to any pitch and the extra output lets me plug it in to an external bigger louder speaker during marching season. the only downside is the awkward battery size but regardless they last a long time making the hassle of finding the battery less of a worry. i do recommend you buy 2 packs when you by your first spare however, so you don't have to go back and risk not finding them
When I first purchased this metronome I was fairly satisfied, especially because of it's volume control and metal clip. However, after about half a year of using it regularly, it simply stopped working even when I tried using many different fresh batteries. The unique battery type also makes it difficult to replace batteries. I would recommend using this metronome only for people who practice an hour a day or less.
