I recently bought these because I wanted a change from the typical Vandoren Java reeds. I had no idea what to expect and was blown away! These reeds play perfectly in tune at any volume on low notes, high notes, and everything in between! Surprisingly, every reed in the box was playable, a rare occurrence in boxes of reeds. I will definitely be buying many more boxes of these reeds!!!

OUTSTANDING REED. Perfect balance of warmth with just the right amount of brightness. After trying all of the various cane reeds like Alexander Superial/dc, Marca etc., these Branchers are the best in sound, cut quality, durability, and most importantly PLAYABILITY. Every register plays BEAUTIFULLY with this reed, and altissimo is superior. There isn’t much of anything you can say bad about this reed. If you are looking for a nice even sound that brings out both the bright buzz with the deep richness of the saxophone, try some of these Branchers. I doubt you'll be disappointed. PS. you may want to try getting a 1/2 size larger in strength as these are more free blowing reeds.
