"This one will give a Haynes a run for the money!"

I played this flute along with a $5,500 refurbished Haynes, and I preferred this flute. For the money, this flute is a steal. Actually, I prefer the B3 to the B2, but truly there wasn't that much difference. The key action is only slightly better on the B3. The high notes were brilliant, the mid-tones were clear and pure, and the octave jumps were clean.

"Fantastic Tone!"

After around 11/2 years of tuition, I decided to look for a better flute. My teacher suggested a solid silver flute for me so I looked around. My personal choice will be a Brio because I trust their high quality of craftsmanship. I actually tried other brands of flute (of comparable models) but keep coming back to this. The French pointed keys give a lighter action for faster passages of the music. The cutting of the headjoint gives it a gorgeous tone. This is a flute that I will rely on for the rest of my life!
