Ribbon Dance is based on an old, colorful Chinese dance. In this version, each performer hold a ribbon stick and moves the ribbon to the beat of a Chinese chant. Ribbons sticks are varnished dowels with a 12 foot polyethylene ribbon attached. Music is divided into three parts--instruction, practice, and performance.
