I bought a single 1.26 mm Clayton pick about 6 years ago because of the feel; and amazingly I still use it.
They have a plastic feel, but not slick. It almost grips my fingers while I hold onto it, but only slightly. It is hard to describe, but I love it.

I am a major pick-hound! Every time I see a new pick, I have to try it out. And the Claytons are my new favorite. I've been using the thins (.50 mm), but am planning to get some thicker ones as I have found that mine are starting to curl a little. However, all my picks do this, so I attribute it more to my playing style. But they produce a great tone, not too harsh but still with power, and they are very comfortable. I definitely recommend trying these out.
