Similar to the standard Unwound Series (Models 1-10A). Larger, heaver mallet heads that feature longer handles. Each model brings out more fundamental, producing a big, rich, full tone. These have 1 1/8 inch diameter hard gray rubber ends.
Hard xylophone mallets with rattan handles. Hard, big, round orchestral sound. Suggested for use on Glockenspiel for Wagner's "Rhine Journey" and Rimsky-Korsakov's "Russion Easter Overture" and for Xylophone use on Shostakovich's Symphony 7 and Copeland's "Appalachian Spring".
The medium-hard yarn wool round head is perfect for all-around playing and works well for Vibraphone or Marimba. They have black birch shafts for rigidity and consistency.
