I started playing tuba with this mouthpiece and I have been using it for 6 years now. I have used that mouthpiece on various different Concert and marching horns and it works perfectly with all of them. My range is great with this mouthpiece and it makes me push air so overall it makes me a better player.

This is my first personal mouthpiece. Not only does it look great it sounds great to. Unfortunately I've experienced some problems lately. In comparison with the mouthpieces I've used at my school my mouth doesn't form with this mouthpiece as well. My lips slide around after playing for only awhile. And recently the gold plating has started to discolor and flake off where the mouthpiece connects to the tuba. I also recommend not marching with this mouthpiece. Still a great buy.
