The Woodwind & Brasswind Affiliate Program is a fast and easy way to add e-commerce to your web site and start generating revenue. If you have a web site, you can join the Woodwind & Brasswind Affiliate Program and earn money by promoting us to your visitors. We offer professionally designed banner ads, textual links, product feeds and a WWBW.com search box. All of our marketing materials are linked to high-converting landing pages. Each time a visitor clicks from your site to Woodwind & Brasswind to purchase items, you earn commissions.
Earn up to 6% commission on referred merchandise sales with a 60-day cookie for return visitors. This means you get commission on all sales that take place up to 60 days after you send someone to Woodwind & Brasswind. For example, if a customer visits your site and clicks on our banner ad and doesn't buy anything right away, but purchases something at Woodwind & Brasswind a few days later, you still get credited for the sale.
No. It is absolutely free to join our affiliate program as a basic user. Basic users have access to banner ads, product images, textual links and our WWBW.com search box. To participate in LinkShare’s advanced applications, you may encounter additional fees which you would pay to LinkShare directly.
Yes. We participate in LinkShare’s Merchandiser Program. In order to receive our product feed, you must fill out an Affiliate Request for Merchandiser Participation Form.
According to LinkShare, you must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Merchandiser Program:
- Have a registered and verified legal entity with LinkShare.
- Be an active affiliate account in the LinkShare Network, with a valid email address.
- Can retrieve product files on a daily basis via FTP account.
- Be approved by each merchant whose product file you would like to receive.
There is no set up fee if you meet the following criteria:
- You have been active in the Network for at least 3 months, AND
- You have generated at least 50 orders in the most recent calendar month.
If you do not meet the above criteria, there is a one-time, upfront investment of $250 to cover the set-up and ongoing maintenance of your individual and secure LinkShare Merchandiser FTP account. The cost covers any IP changes that you may need to make to your account in the future - once we have established your account, you may receive all merchants feeds for which you are approved.

As an affiliate of Woodwind & Brasswind, we do not permit you to bid on or conduct targeted online marketing efforts on trade names, trademark brands or variations of our trade names/trademark brands in Pay Per Click Search Engine (PPC) or through contextual advertising. We have the right in our sole discretion to monitor your site and the search engines at any time and from time to time to determine if you are in compliance with the terms of this agreement.
The following rules of engagement are to be followed:
- Negative broad matches must be applied to any PPC activities you are conducting on our behalf on the brand terms, especially using terms ‘woodwind brasswind’.
- No “Exact” or “Broad” match bidding on the brand terms or derivatives of its spelling.
- No “Term Misspelling” bidding on the brand terms or derivatives of its spelling.
- No use of the following display URLs or in your copy: www.wwbw.com.
- No “Broad” match bidding on any combinations of the brand terms.
- No “Phrase” match bidding on the brand terms.
- No contextual marketing efforts of any kind may be focused or targeted through a keyword match on the brand terms or derivatives of its spelling.
- No attempts at cyber squatting through the misspelling or use of the brand terms or their derivatives within URL strings and domain names.
It is very simple to get started! Just complete the brief online application. You will receive an instant e-mail confirming the receipt of your application. We will review your application as soon as possible, typically within one or two business days.
After your application has been approved, you will receive an e-mail containing your username and password and detailed instructions on how to access and use our links and text. Our dedicated affiliate team has provided many resources at LinkShare. Affiliates get marketing materials to put on their sites, and get reports about how their links are performing and how much they have earned.
The LinkShare Corporation is a New York-based, independent organization. It is the largest provider of affiliate programs on the Internet. LinkShare provides the software that enables us to track affiliate activity and allows you to view your activity and commissions.
We will provide you with all the needed banners, graphics, textual links, and marketing support. Once you join, you will receive a user name and password via e-mail which will allow you to login at http://www.LinkShare.com and access the images and code that you need.
Woodwind & Brasswind wants affiliates interested in selling our products. We encourage all interested sites to apply to our program. However, before you can participate in our program, we will need to approve your site. Mainly we look for sites that:
- Are aesthetically pleasing.
- Do not display content that may be deemed pornographic or offensive.
- Are fully up and functional. We will temporarily decline sites that are down or are under heavy construction.
- Do not display coupon code without prior written permission of the affiliate marketing team.
- Are not personal homepages or personal websites.
We will temporarily decline affiliates for the following reasons:
- Inability to access Web site.
- Web site not yet live.
- Legal entity status.
- Inappropriate material on site.
- Concerns about ability to manage WWBW.com brand.
- Unclear on how business will refer customer traffic.
Temporarily declined affiliates are encouraged to re-apply with Woodwind & Brasswind whenever they have been able to address the concern(s) listed above.
Once you join, you will receive a user name and password via e-mail which will allow you to login at LinkShare and check your reports including how much commission you have earned.
Woodwind & Brasswind pays LinkShare monthly commission on sales from the previous month. LinkShare distributes those funds in accordance with its policies. For updated information on LinkShare's payment policies, please visit LinkShare. All checks will be mailed to the billing contact you put on the Affiliate Application.
All products on Woodwind & Brasswind count for commission, except sheet music, certain outlet items, and items that manufacturers do not allow us to sell on the internet. Affiliates are paid on orders shipped. Affiliates are not paid on orders which are cancelled, declined or refused. We pay commission on guitars, drums, woodwind, brass, keyboards, accessories and more! Our entire inventory is at your fingertips!
60-day referral credit means that you get commission on all sales that take place up to 60 days after you send someone to Woodwind & Brasswind. For example, if a customer visits your site and clicks on our banner ad and doesn't buy anything right away, but purchases something at Woodwind & Brasswind a few days later, you still get credited for the sale. That's one of the special benefits we give to our affiliates as a way of saying thanks.
You may register more than one URL as long as they are different sites and not multiple URLs of the same one.
You are free to design your site and promotions as you see fit and as long as it does not violate our affiliate agreement. Our dedicated affiliate management team will offer support and tips for improving sales conversion through marketing newsletters and other communication.
