The First Review Is not much of a teacher!!!

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves Bass Pro String Winder/Cutter:

A string winder is not used to fine tune your guitar, it is to help get the string on faster. When it starts to tighten the you stop and use your hand to fine tune. If it had more then 1 pivot point what use would it be. Even I know this as a beginner and a Hobbyist. Glad I dont live in CA if this is how the music teachers are there.

Poor construction makes this string winder unusable

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves Bass Pro String Winder/Cutter:

I was excited to finally get a bass string winder. Then this thing came. The winder is attached to the bass by a single screw, and when you attempt to wind the string on, the thing tightens up and is impossible to rotate. You end up turning it just as you would by hand, which is not what a winder should do. It should use a ratcheting system of some sort. In any case, I was really disappointed.
