Product Description
DW
With more and more drummers preferring the sonic advantages of stand-mounting their rack and floor toms instead of using bass drum mounts and floor tom legs, the Double Cymbal stand provide more flexibility and drum capacity with less hardware.
Product Overview and Specifications
DW Heavy Weight Tom And Cymbal Stand

For today's drummers
The 9799 has been designed to provide the variety of options and versatility that today's progressive drummers demand. It even includes an auxiliary clamp for convenient mounting of extra drum, cymbal and accessory arms (sold separately.)

Setting the standard
With its balanced blend of form, function and features, Drum Workshop's heavy-duty 9000 Series drum hardware continues to set the standard for strength and flexibility.

All of the best features available
The 9000 Series' cymbal, snare drum, tom-tom and multi-purpose stands provide the rock solid reliability of heavy-duty steel tubing and double-braced legs as well as the security of DW's exclusive, easy to use memory locks on all legs, arms and tube joints. Captive wingscrews and insulated tube receivers on all 9000 hardware assure a lifetime of trouble-free operation while players will appreciate such drummer-designed innovations as position reset handles, toothless tilters, threaded cymbal space adjustment, premium grade felt washers and the versatility of convertible castings on the stands and accessories. From mainstream to extreme, the 9000 Series by Drum Workshop is the most versatile and durable hardware system around, truly tough enough for anything today's progressive drum and percussion players can throw at it.

I bought 2 of these stands (holds four cymbals) about 2 years ago. They are still like new today. They are extremely durable. I am a heavy hitter and I gig regularly in a rock band. Not only do they support the heaviest of cymbals, they handle extra gear clamped on. On one of these stands, I have an 18" crash, 16" China, 6" splash (off an attached boom arm), and a cowbell tree clamped on it as well. One down side is that the top wing nut (above the cymbal) does not stay on unless you tighten it all the way. For me, this does not allow for the cymbal to move properly when struck. I got around this by replacing the wing nuts with 1/2 inch locking nuts. You can find these at any hardware store.
