The best underrated set that I have ever seen,beautiful.

this drumset has a warm sound and yet can be played very loud. Whether I am pounding out blast beats and doubles or playing with more touch, this kit sounds great. My roomate is monitor engineer and owns an almost identical dw set and was pretty jealous when i told him the price(not list price, I walked into gc and it was'nt even set up. Was there the next day with cash)and the fade instantly reminded me of yamahas flame maple custom. I threw some Evans ec2s on the toms and it was butter. After playing the drums on several gigs and owning them for about 9 months they sound superb. Thank you dw and pacific for allowing me to buy seriously awsome set for almost nothing.

This kit is great, I have the Emerald Fade (looks like Matt Kellys Kit from the dropkick murphys) with a 16x14 add on floor tom. the stock heads are ok, I had to replace them fairly quickly. The drums have like a really cool sound, they kind of punch, but are also crisp. I would defently sugust this kit.
