The Ashley Purdy Spire War Paint Bass Guitar from Dean has menacing lines and truly twisted angle. Covered in Ashley's signature "Warpaint" design this bass is glam-meets-feel. Ashley was keen on finding a bass that felt right and was weighted properly. He fell in love with the Spire body having grown up playing Thunderbirds and other similarly styled basses. Looks aren't everything though. This Dean delivers in the sound department as well. The mahogany top and body make sure those highs cut through with clarity and precision. Thick lows and mids make sure the low end is taken care of because, according to Purdy, you don't just hear the bass, "You feel it." The 2 DMT designed pickups with active 3-band EQ make sure you feel it by shaping your sound to perfection from punchy to thuddy and everywhere in between. Beautiful abalone "spire" inlays, grover tuners and ABM bridge round out this perfectly put together powerhouse.
