Comments about Deering Goodtime Banjo:
I purchased this banjo 3 months ago, and have had a GREAT time with it. I have played guitar and bass for many years, and decided to try to learn banjo as I'm approaching retirement. The Goodtime is one of the most inviting instruments I've ever picked up. The sound is good and the playability is excellent, which has been a big encouragement to learning the instrument. The banjo came set up, ready to play, with a beautiful maple neck and accurate fret action. I had considered starting with a "cheap" banjo, but am so glad I went the American-made route instead. The Goodtime may be the bottom of the line, but it is a fine instrument and a great value. And the folks at WWBW have been most helpful.
