If you play alto (tenor) horn this is the only mouthpiece you ever need to buy, my #2 plays dark and smooth, even through out low and high registers... not to mention comfortable, I almost feel like I'm cheating; it's so easy to play! I don't even play on a Besson alto, it's a big old Slovic horn.
