I have been playing a Denis Wick MM4C trumpet mouthpiece in gold plate for 1-2 years now and absolutely love it. This mouthpiece replaced an old Bach 3C whose bore had been slightly reamed out. The MM4C is very similar to a Bach 3C but feels a little softer on the chops. That could be attributed to the gold plating, but I think the inner rim is slightly more rounded. You can find exact specs elsewhere, but for me the mouthpiece just feels more stable on my chops. I use this mouthpiece for classical, practice sessions, and when warming up for gigs where I use shallower Schilke and Callet mouthpieces. Wick has a solid reputation for its products, and this mouthpiece is no exception. The gold plating has held up very well, even on the shank where it contacts my horn's leadpipe. If you are looking to replace an older 'standard' mouthpiece I strongly suggest you try a couple of the Wick mouthpieces.
