Mach IV six-string electric guitar
60's Look with Today's Quality
Everybody loves those wild guitars of the 60's, but they often lack the quality that today's players demand. Problems like low output pickups, poor sustain, and loose neck joints are common in older guitars. DiPinto has eliminated these problems to create a guitar you can count on! Sorry, but how cool it looks isn't enough info. It's a good solid guitar, pickups are great. Not very high gain, humbucker sounds really powerful, lots of drive, single coil sounds very crisp and clear. I've played lots of different guitars. I don't think I'll play anymore, this is the one.
Pretty good guitar - I'll admit, I bought it for its weird vintage look, and was taken with its versatile tone. In the lead position the highs are very pronounced - goes great with distortion and can provide a "shredding" tone, for lack of a better cliche. Switched to rhythm, it can have a very full bluesy tone that sounds amazing. Throw distortion on this, and its a full tone with little hum, contrasting other guitars. Neck has very quick action and is a comfort to play on. My only problem with the guitar is that the high frets (13+) are tiny and clumped, which makes it very hard to play your high wailing, dramatic and over the top solos. Great look and feel, good price and craftsmanship, compared to those big name staples. Comfortable body, too.
