This MOTU Digital Performer tutorial is a complete guide to making music with Digital Performer 8. The Quick Start section features a grand tour of the features and functions in Digital Performer. The Audio section provides in-depth coverage on audio FX, recording, mixing and mastering using Digital Performer 8. The Loops & Remix section demonstrates the tools used for audio time stretching and pitch editing, and includes a remix example using looping, chunks and v-racks. There is a comprehensive section on MIDI that explains setting up Digital Performer 8 to work with Virtual Instruments and hardware MIDI devices as well as recording and editing.

This course is produced for both Windows and Macintosh. However, at the time the course was released, MOTU had not yet made the Windows version of Digital Performer 8 available.
