I'm the only tuba player in both the marching band and the entire school this year. I convinced my director to let me use a beret, and it's awesome! It makes me feel like the other band members, and I think it makes me look better on the field.

I'm am the only Sousaphone/Tuba in my marching band this year. I switched 3 weeks ago from Baritone and all I have to say is TUBAS KICK BRASS! I convinced my band director to let me get a beret this year due to the amount of bows and dance things that I do. I love the way it looks and it makes the drumline jealous! It adds a dose of class and is way better than no hat or "helmet" at all. A great way to make your tuba "section" stand out in the band!
