I purchased this baton case as a gift for my husband. He was happy with its quality, general appearance and size. The case is lightweight. The black leather is attractive and looks and feels as real as advertised. However, the leather is rather soft and would not be appropriate for someone whose case may take a beating and still be required to look nice. The leather also bears a rather predominate imprint of the maker's logo that tends to cheapen its other virtues. The interior of the case features a burgundy-colored, canvas-like material that both looks nice and appears durable. The inserts for securing the two batons were appropriately placed for each of my husband's 15" batons but were a little snug in their allowance for room for the handles.
