These picks are WORTHLESS. I bought 10 packs of the .6 size. They are WORTHLESS. Pick #1 broke on the first strum of song 1. They are WORTHLESS. The second pick broke in half by the chorus of song 1. They are WORTHLESS. The third pick broke near the end of song 2. They are WORTHLESS. By the end of song 3 I had broken the entire 6 pack of these picks. They are WORTHLESS. Strongest warning possible - DO NOT BUY THE .6 PICK SIZE - THEY ARE COMPLETELY WORTHLESS.
I changed to the Ultex plecs about a year ago and haven't looked back. As someone who is fairly heavy handed when it comes to playing guitar, I found, and still find, the durability on another plane compared to any other plec I've used. Even when using the plec as a scratch tool on heavy grade strings the edge remains true.
The only drawback would be that they can seem a little stiff for light styles like funk or jazz.
They don't slip (which I thought at first was because I didn't hold a pick right), AND I've only had ONE of the 2 dozen or so I've had for a year crack on me (and that was because it was the .60 gauge pick!)
I would even go so far to say that I will never use another type of pick again, and me being usually pessimistic about consumables, that's saying alot.
These picks are excellent for strumming, and aggressive attacks as well. They have a perfect balance of grip vs. bite. I do wish that they came in different colors, because they are extremely hard to find if they do fall on the floor.
