They don't slip (which I thought at first was because I didn't hold a pick right), AND I've only had ONE of the 2 dozen or so I've had for a year crack on me (and that was because it was the .60 gauge pick!) I would even go so far to say that I will never use another type of pick again, and me being usually pessimistic about consumables, that's saying alot.
