Envy-provoking looks and hunky tone for a slim price.

The ESP LTD EC-100QM Electric Guitar's eye-popping figured top and matching headstock veneer plus a model number inlay at the 12th fret and black hardware make this one a real looker. The basswood body and maple neck with 24-fret rosewood fingerboard provide great resonance to help the ESP LH-150 humbuckers crank out rich, lengthy sustain.

Comments about ESP LTD EC-100QM Electric Guitar:

Mine is a mahogany version of the EC-100, with the same red QM top. I'm planning on starting to mod it more to my liking, but I just don't have the heart to rip it apart because it looks and plays like heaven. I'm planning on scatter winding one of the pickups and replace the other to a single coil. Then replace the black hardware with gold and a Bigsby trem. ESP really rocks my world. They really hit the sweet spot of guitar design with this old, yet new shape, and the classy dark red/black theme. I'm surprised so many people praise this as a good metal guitar. Oh and those sweet 24 frets... I won't even mention the price, but I think this guitar is heavily underpriced. At gigs, I've got some compliments about the marvellous looks of it. The QM gives a beautiful 3-dimensional look and with the cherry red, it really shines and glitters and, to exaggerate a bit, actually draws more attention than the band itself. After a few mods, it's the guitar of perfection for me and I hope my Lady in Red will serve me for the decades to come.
