Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings

I, like so many others, was put off at first by the fact that these strings are a little expensive - but after using the strings I can say - they are by far the best I've used. In the past I've used all sorts, from d'addario & ernie ball to gibson and fender - none of them come even close to the elixir's - only one bad thing... After being so used to the other strings - first time I played live with the elixirs, I was playing a lead and slid about 4 frets too far in the middle of the lead break... These strings absolutely blow every other string away - I'd simply say - BUY THEM, BUY THEM NOW

… Yes they are about twice the price but last about 4 or 5 times longer than regular strings. I use to use D'addario which are great regular strings. Everyone has there preference, I have 2 strats, and 2 les Pauls, I love them on the strat! I recently tried them on one of my Les Paul’s after using DR brand strings. For LP's I highly recommend DRs. If you want the coated polymer get the DR coated strings.
