This piccolo has a beautiful tone quality! Absolutely beautiful! It's mostly in tune with itself and is a wonderful piccolo with wonderful craftsmanship. The only thing I found that I did not like about this piccolo is the extreme high register. This piccolo cut out at High A. It plays High A wonderfully, but refuses to play High Bb, B, and C.
Wow I just can't believe the sound and how easy this instrument is to play. The high notes just slip right out and the lows are just as clear as all the other note. My teacher has this piccolo and she let me play it for a while and I was amazed by the difference. I played the high G on my piccolo and then the one on hers and to Emerson just let the note slip right out. It was also really fun to play, after playing it I just had to look into getting one of these. Love it!!!!
I have had this piccolo for almost three years now and I LOVE it. I have made district band on it not to mention played it in New York, Disney land and Canada at various competitions and it has never done me wrong. The piccolo itself is gorgeous and every note is absolutely fantastic. Even the "High A flat" is in tune!
I recently ordered this piccolo through wwbw and it is amazing, much better than i could have dreamed, the tone is absoulutly beautiful and pretty easy to play. I recomend the piccolo to anyone who wants a really great piccolo with an amazing tone. Definitly worth the money!
Last September, I wanted to buy a new piccolo. I tried 21 different piccolos (I counted), and once I played the Boston Legacy, I knew it was the one. This is by far the best piccolo I've ever tried.
