At first glance I was a bit suspicious of this guitar due to it's low price. I typically play higher-end Gibsons and Fenders, but I needed a back-up guitar to use for my shows in case I broke a string, or something like that. After seeing good reviews, I went out and bought a white one. Wow was I surprised when I took it home and started playing it. With my eyes closed I can barely tell which one is my Gibson and which one is my Epiphone. Only issue with this guitar is that the electronics inside of it are a bit weaker and cheaper than the other guitars I have, but hey, they have to cut corners somewhere to offer this guitar for a low price. The neck is smooth and fast, and the bolt-on neck gets surprisingly good sustain. I put new tuners on it (for cosmetic purposes though) and that is the only thing I have changed on it. If you are a beginner or even a seasoned pro, buy this guitar, it's an investment you will never regret.
If your like me, you want to know what your buying, and that your getting a good deal on it. When I saw this guitar I was first a little nervous on it's low price, being the first instrument I had purchaced on this website. When I recieved it, I relized how nice in tone, clean in sound and nicely constructed it was. There was a small crack in the fiberglass on the side of the base but nothing noticable. I have used this guitar on a daily basis for almost a year now and never once have I had a single problom with it. If you are looking for a good quality guitar at a low price, this is the guitar for you.
What an awesome guitar. It sounds so crisp and clean. My strat has this buzzing sound and i hate it. This guitar does not have a buzz at all. I love it so much.
This was the first guitar I bought (a year ago), and has been incredible. I was not expecting the tone I got from my SG 310. When I received it, I had a friend of mine who has years of experience check it out. The black finish was great (pics don't do it justice), the intonation was -OK-, string height and neck curve was perfect. The open humbuckers aren't all that powerful, but they do sound good. My only real complaint is with the pots. The volume and tone pots are all or nothing affairs. There is about a 5 degree sweep where you can affect a noticeable change. Usually, I just leave 'em all up and EQ and level through my amp. Great sustain, seems to go on forever. I play a lot in drop C so you have to watch your pick attack angle, sounds like that's what the guitar is made for to me. Tuners aren't bad at all; just have to make sure you string it right.
