OVERVIEW

Ready to plug in and rock on.

Les Paul Melody Maker E1 Electric Guitar. Built by Epiphone, the Melody Maker E1 is a scaled-down Les Paul designed for players on a budget. With a poplar body, it produces the fat, crunchy tone the Les Paul is known for. Available in 6 stunning finishes—Ebony, Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Pacific Blue, Sunset Yellow, Turquoise, and Vintage Sunburst—the Melody Maker E1 is an eye-catching, gig-ready guitar made to ignite your performance.

Custom P-90 Pickups Provide Iconic Tone

The Melody Maker E1 is equipped with roaring ceramic pickups, giving it a tone reminiscent of '50s rock 'n' roll. The ceramic single coil pickups are known for their punchy, gritty midrange and ability to drive an amp into saturation. Roll back the volume knob for a cleaner sound or crank it up for a snarling lead tone. With a 3-way selector switch, you can choose the bridge pickup for a biting rock tone, the neck pickup for a warm jazz tone or combine them for a versatile mix of both.

Slim-Taper Neck Plays Fast and Smooth

The Melody Maker E1 features a slim-taper neck for effortless playability. Its slim, contoured profile allows your hand to glide up and down the fretboard with ease. The neck has 22 medium frets and a 12" radius, providing a comfortable playing surface for chords, solos and everything in between. Whether you prefer to pick or fingerpick, the Melody Maker E1's fast neck will inspire you to play for hours on end.

Lightweight Mahogany Body Resonates Richly

The Melody Maker E1 has a chambered poplar body that produces a resonant, woody tone while keeping the weight light. Poplar is a dense, medium-hardwood used in many Epiphone guitars that helps create a warm, balanced tone with solid lows and sparkling highs. The maple top further enhances articulation and note definition. Together, these tonewoods give the Melody Maker E1 a voice that sings and sustains.

High-Quality Components and Gibson Warranty

As you'd expect from Epiphone, the Melody Maker E1 is built with premium components, including closed-back tuners, a Tune-o-matic bridge and 500K pots. For players seeking an affordable Les Paul, the Melody Maker E1 delivers iconic tone and playability in a high-performance package.
