The tremolo cavity allows for serious dive bombing as well as pull-ups. The EMG HZ-4A pickup in the bridge position is optimized for lead performance while the EMG HZ-4 pickup is specifically voiced for neck position. Designed to emulate the sound of their active counterparts (the EMG 81 and 85), these HZs are probably the quietest passive pickups available. And unlike active pickups, you never have to worry about these babies showing up dead.
