STINGRAY EQ3
Ok, so you've seen it on stage, heard it on record, and you still haven't played one yet?
The quintessential Funker's bass, the StingRay has become the standard that others often imitate, but noone comes close to the growling articulation and booty-shaking bottom that you get from the StingRay. From the instantly recognizable three-and-one headstock and teardrop pickguard to the single large-pole humbucking pickup, this classic will give you all the tone you can handle, and feel great doing it - gig after gig.

FEATURES
  • Massive humbucking pickup with 3-band active preamp
  • Select hardwood body
  • Maple neck
  • Schaller BM tapered-post tuners
  • Volume, treble, bass controls

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 4-String Electric Bass Guitar:

I'm not going to say how Wonderfull this bass is because you probably already know this. I'd just like to say how great WWBW are! My bass showed up in pristine condition and was tuned up ready to go. I'll definitely be using WWBW in the future without hesitation. Thanks, J.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 4-String Electric Bass Guitar:

Ok let me just say that this is THE BEST bass you will ever buy in your lifetime. I had a fender p-bass before this one and the bridge would always go out and the pickup gave me no output at all, but Ernie Ball just gave me everything I want, from devastating lows to crisp highs. I play like Mark Hoppus from blink 182 and this bass gives you that really nice, active, full of energy sound, but if you wanna tone it down for jazz or something, you've got so many options for sound and tone. This is pure American made perfection rolled into 4 strings and wood. This bass is the best bass for any gigging musician, it's built to take a beating, but please don't do that on purpose, she's special. I hope this review gave you some nice insight.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 4-String Electric Bass Guitar:

It's perfectly balanced, perfectly weighted, the pickup's are in the right place. It's comfortable, the sounds are phenomenal, and it's the perfect bass for slapping. Unfortunately it cost me nearly $2,000 here in the UK, but it's still well worth every penny. What more can I say? Invest!

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 4-String Electric Bass Guitar:

I've been playing this bass for a few years now; the three band preamp has been standard now since at least 2003, maybe longer. I've played Fenders, Warwicks, G&L, Riks etc. they all sound good and were built well, but I kept going back to the stingray. Made with only the best wood, and hardware, mine is the clear ash, not only beautiful, but will last forever. Though it is known as a great slap bass I & rightfully so, with the stock round wounds (sounded great), I wanted a more P -Bass sound, so I switched to flat wounds to get that Blues root tone, couldnÆt be happier. With the one pickup you'd think this bass is a one trick pony, not the case at all. Hats were the three band preamp comes in, itÆs very musical. The treble never gets brittle, the mids let you cut through, and the bass, and you know what thatÆs for. From Jaco to reggae I can take this bass anywhere.
