A couple of years ago, I restored an old Pearl kit that I had for a long time. I am a die-hard Remo customer, but this time I wanted to try something else. So I bought a set of these because they were comparable in price. I was pleasantly surprised-they sound great! I played a few gigs with them, and they never let me down. Good tone with a nice thump to them. Durable, too. Try these if you want a good product for the price.

Well I've had these on my drumset for a year now and they still sound great with no dents. They make my toms sing. My pacific LX sounded like hitting a cardboard box until I switched to Evans G2's. I put these on in combination with Evans resonant glass heads on the bottoms and Wow what a difference. They made my kit sound like a DW pro kit. I always get complimented on the tom sound. If you play drums (not beat on a drumset) you need these whether live or recording!!!!!
