Product Overview and Specifications
The Fender Frontman 25R Guitar Amplifier

Frontman Amplifiers have everything you need to blow the windows out of your bedroom or practice hall. Unlike other inexpensive "jobber" amps, (which can be sourced from any number of off-shore mass manufacturers) these bantam weight tone-buddies were conceived and are built by Fender's in house Tone-Team with same quality components and attention to detail that goes into every amp Fender makes.

For the price this amp is a steal. Clean settings are almost vintage Fender. My buddy has a Twin Reverb and this little thing has the same tone, just not as loud. This thing does get loud though. You can play along with a drummer as long as they're not going nuts. The overdrive channel is nice and crunchy. Pretty decent although I would recommend getting a distortion pedal.

This amp for its size is very loud. If you turn the gain up on it and just thrash it is CRAZY LOUD! This was my first amp and the only one I will jam on. Its size is very convenient and it’s easy to carry around. The price was pretty good. I am completely satisfied with my decision of purchasing this amp.

First of all it's a Fender amp! The sound is awesome! VERY VERY LOUD! In between volume level 1 and 2 it goes from quiet to LOUD! There is AMAZING power in this amp! The clean channel is EXCELLENT! Beautiful clear tone! The distortion is like a classic dist/fuzz sound in my opinion. I use Digitech and DOD pedals with this amp it sounds awesome! Not saying that other effects pedals wouldn’t work great with this amp. Recently I bought one of the NEW models Digitech RP 150 and it really TURBO CHARGES this amp! try one out at a guitar store sometime or better ORDER ONE of these amps and multi effects pedals (RP 150 or above) you will have SO much fun, changing your amp to sound like a VOX, a MARSHALL, a MESA BOOGIE, or different Fender models like a Twin Reverb, Tweed etc. The RP-150 also has some of the best effects pedals of all time DOD overdrive, Boss METAL ZOINE, Ibanez tube screamer, DOD Grunge to name a few. These two items truly compliment one another. Getting back to the Frontman 25R, don’t waste your money on a piece of junk. You won’t be disappointed. Loud or clean just add your favorite effects pedals and you will be SATISFIED!
