Not your average Fender.

Great guitar for the money. I needed a guitar that would fill the void in my arsenal to provide a more vintage tone and still have a modern edge to it. This guitar solved the issue quick. I always liked the playability of Fender guitars but I'm not a fan of single coils. The jaguar gives you some of the classic Fender sound, lots of bite and growl and has all the punch you'd expect from a humbucker equipped rock guitar. The switches can be a bit much, makes you feel like you're at mission control for a rocket launch but the tonal possibilities are incredible. Although the pickups are medium-ish output, it can still deal significant gain. No matter what it always sounds warm and rich. The short scale is fun too; very fast neck, great for chording and decent for linear stuff. Overall it would be nearly impossible to find a guitar in the same price range to deliver everything this guitar does. And you don't have to question the quality of construction, this isn't your average outsourced made in Mexico Fender.

This guitar is exactly what I've been looking for. Once I got it, it was just as I remembered. The Humbucking pickups beef up the tone of the jag significantly, but still equipped with highly adjustable pickup switches, gives you the option of several different tones. The neck is excellent and easily playable. It has fender construction. I'm in love with mine. If you're trying to decide between this jag and something else, no matter what style. I RECOMMEND THIS GUITAR!!! Try looking for the "vintage" Gold colour. It's more vintage greenish and it looks nice. Consider it if you're not into the whole black and metal thing.)
