Jimmy Dale, son of the legendary surf guitarist Dick Dale, has the chops and touring schedule to back up his namesake. He helped design his own take on the Kingman with features such as an all solid mahogany body, dual pickguards, Fishman preamp with onboard tuner, and a 3" body depth for more comfortable playing and less feedback when plugged in.
Built on a thin 3" deep dreadnought body design, the Fender Jimmy Dale Kingman acoustic electric guitar features a solid mahogany top, back, and sides, and scalloped X-bracing, offering well-balanced tone, with plenty of full-tone projection. The maple neck, rosewood compensated bridge, and rosewood fretboard add clarity, and the die-cast tuners keep the six-string in key from song to song.
The signature Jimmy Dale guitar also features Fender's Stratocaster headstock shape with Jimmy Dale Signature, dual action truss rod, traditional Fender bridge, factory mounted forward strap button with internal block reinforcement, bound fingerboard, white pearloid block inlays, checkerboard rosette, soft "C" shaped neck, multiple body bindings, bone nut and saddle, chrome hardware, and dressed in a satin finish. Once you pick it up, you'll hear that the Fender Kingman SCE guitar fits in with any application, whether acoustic or plugged in. Includes case.
