Stay tuned with Fender's NEW PT100 pedal tuner. We've made the best even better by updating the industry standard PT10 pedal tuner. An easy-to-read LED note indicator has replaced the note indicating LED bar. As an additional upgrade, the flat/sharp LEDs have been changed from red to blue for a more modern look. It's like having the PT10 and ST1 in one tuner! |

After owning tuners by other brands; such as Planet Waves, Korg, and Seiko; I picked up a Fender PT-100 Pedal Tuner to use with my new bass. Upon first glance, it seems quite rugged with a nice wide footprint. Looking closer, its casing is made out of rugged plastic. Although it's built well, plastic is no substitute for metal. Additionally, the battery compartment is slow-access, and allows the battery to rattle around inside. In use, this tuner is very accurate and visible, and the option of being either mute or live while tuning is quite useful…this tuner pedal is much better and more durable than the Boss TU-2… Budget-wise, the Fender PT-100 is fine; and I would still recommend it.

I loved this pedal, (it was the former PT-10 model) it had the stomp functionality that provides on stage silent tuning and was easy to see on stage regardless of the lighting. Unfortunately one day, while connected in battery mode it fried itself...nice smell. It did last for nearly 2 years, and is half the price of the competing Boss tuner. These things happen and I would still recommend the product since I have seen no similar feedback.
