Comments about Fender Special Edition Deluxe Ash Telecaster:

IF you want a guitar that can do it all get a Tele. IF you want a guitar that will be the last guitar you will ever have to buy, buy this guitar. I've only had this guitar for less than a week, but it is an excellent guitar. Took it immediately to my Setup Guy and he confirmed that this is a great guitar. I bought this on a recommendation of a friend that had one and loved it. This guitar sounds great, I had the action lowered slightly from Factory Specs and it is smooth. The neck has a nice feel to it. The I would definitely purchase from WoodWind & BrassWind. Shipping was delayed a couple of days due to a snow storm and their customer service was great to work with. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

So you want a Tele

Comments about Fender Special Edition Deluxe Ash Telecaster:

This guitar works on all levels of playing. It probably will need set up for 15 to 50 bucks depending on the luthier. Or you may get lucky and it suits you. But that being said you need to get this guitar if you crave country twang and a lighting fast neck. The main difference in this Factory special run (fsr) is that the pickguard is black (it was on mine) and the pots are reversed. The 3 way switch is in the rear and volume and tone are so that you can wrap a finger around while playing and do swells..I like that some do not. The neck is great, the ash body looks great (it is laquered to a gloss ). It sounds great. Upgrades to this mexican tele would be a pair of noiseless fender tele pickups, a roller nut and a good strap. You will never want to take this guitar off, you may want to sleep with it. It is however great sounding just out of the box with standard fender tele pickups. This guitar handles all types of music especially county, rock and jazz. It has that Bruce Springsteen look and you will probably keep it a long time and road wear it. Tuners are standard fender tele with fender logo on them ...they hold tune very well. The 9.5 radius neck is really really good and the finish . I have played the american tele and this one holds its own with it. The main thing is don't let the mexican distinction get in your way of a great bargin ...this guitar is a steal....you will be glad you bought it.
