Package includes ebony fingerboard, pegs, nut, saddle, Guarneri style chinrest,and an ebony tailpiece with 4 fine tuners. Shop adjusted to MENC specifications with Thomastik Dominant strings and figured maple bridge and Glasser horsehair bow. The full size outfit includes an oblong wood case with a burgundy plush interior and hygrometer. Fractional sizes include a molded hardshell (shaped) case. Made in Romania.

It has a great sound and a good volume. I hate violins that have no volume and sound like a box with strings, but this is just the opposite. The only thing that I donÆt like is that it is hard to get a very clear piano and the bow it comes with "isn't so great". My varnish on the violin is wearing off already, but is not affecting the overall playing quality of it. Overall for a student it is a great violin. Was this review useful?
